Portland Junior Pirates

On August 21st, the Portland Junior Pirates will be holding their 1st Annual Skate-A-Thon at the MHG Ice Centre in Saco. Players participating will find sponsors for their season tuition where 80 % will go to the player (tuition) and 20 % donated to the Special Olympics. The Skate-A-Thon will take place from 5 to 6:30pm with door prizes and snacks/drinks being provided.

Each season the Portland Junior Pirates recruit talented players who live outside the local area. In order to take advantage of this hockey opportunity the players need host families who are willing to share their home and become their “home away from home”.
