Portland Junior Pirates

Saco, ME- The Portland Jr. Pirates announced today that forward '88 Paul Kashmanian of Grand Island, New York has verbally committed to play for the University of New England Nor’Easters in Biddeford, ME for the 2009 - 2010 season.

This past season was his second with the Junior Pirates program. Kashmaninan becomes the Junior Pirates 57th college commitment. Paul finished the season with an impressive 10 goals and 19 assists.

Paul will join teammates Russ Franey, John Melancon and Tyler Fleurent for UNE’s first Division III hockey season.
