Portland Junior Pirates

St. Cloud, MN - Two members of the Portland Junior Pirates were recently selected to attend the USA Hockey Select 15 Player Development Camp in St. Cloud Minnesota. Forwards Connor Anthoine of Lewiston, ME and Evan Schultz of Durham, NH will both begin the camp starting August 2^nd.

The goal of the camp is to select the best players available of their specific age group and gives the chance to show their skills to some of the top scouts in the country while being exposed to excellent coaching. The camp even considers itself to be a “grueling week of training and competition”.

Schultz will be playing for the Pirates Junior B team this year, while Anthoine will make the jump from the Junior B to Junior A team. Both players are expected to make major contributions to the Junior Pirates.
