Saco, ME - Many who have recently visited the MHG Ice Centre in Saco have noticed the construction in progress on the OA Sports Center. Many months of design and work have been put into the completion of the building and the results are showing.
The building will offer many different services directed towards athletes and anyone physically active. Some of the features of the center will include an indoor track, turf field, an 8-camera biomechanics lab, a physiology lab, and a restaurant.
What was once Lund Manufacturing, John Mansville, and even a Verizon warehouse has come a long way to soon become one of the finest athletic performance facilities in New England. The interior renovation has cleared out the needed space for all of the buildings' features.
Construction is close to completion on the new Junior Pirates junior locker rooms, while the rest of the buildings' features are in progress. The OA Sports Center is set to be complete this fall.
