Portland Junior Pirates

SACO, ME - The MHG Ice Centre, the new home of the Portland Junior Pirates ice hockey development program, is closing in on its' Phase I completion as ice was installed yesterday. The Junior Pirates expect to be utilizing the building next week, barring any unforeseen delays this week.

Over the next week, the scoreboard will be installed, wall and ceiling insulation will be completed, and any miscellaneous construction needs will be completed.  

MHG's arena website, www.mhgice.com, anticipates going live by next week with all program information and schedules for 2008.
