SACO, ME- The Portland Junior Pirates are proud to introduce their Little Crackers Developmental Hockey Program that is currently running on Thursdays and Saturdays in Saco.
This program will allow children to be introduced for the first time to the sport of hockey. This program will teach important basics of the game that are needed to further develop skills. Players entering this program may also be the foundation for future Junior Pirates teams.
The Little Crackers are split into three programs, Learn To Skate For The Hockey Player, Learn To Play Hockey and Cross Ice-Hockey. Goals in these programs are to obtain skills in skating, stick and puck handling, while gaining confidence on the ice.
The Learn To Skate For The Hockey Player program also runs on Saturdays at 3:00pm. All clinics will take place at the MHG Ice Centre. For more information contact the Maine Hockey Group at (207) 283-1900 or info@mainehockeygroup.com.
